Jamboree… what is it?

In one sentence – an activity that brings together all croatian scouts. It lasts between 7 and 10 days and must be organized in strictly natural environment. National jamboree has a long tradition in croatian scouting. First national jamboree was organized in Turanjski Lug (that's about 15 km from location this year) near Karlovac in 1964.

Motto of 2010 National jamboree is "Adventure in nature!". We think it speaks for itself...

2010 National jamboree is organized in a way that a group of individual scout unit's camps form a "camp village". A camp villages will count about 200-300 participants and will be named after croatian national parks.

Each scout unit individulally plans program implementation, while SAC provides program workshops, hikes, field trips, entertainment, facultative activities and other program offer to make things easier.
